Midwest Reverb is to be a hub to find bands and live shows around the Midwest. To the general public, Midwest Reverb will be a place to search for live music in their area or find a new band.

This site is very limited and we are talking to web developers to redesign the site and bring the full functionality. This site is a temporary placeholder while our new site is being built. Here is a general overview of how the new site will look.

On the front page will be a search section, a virtual bulletin board for show posters, and a new releases playlist. Bands and live shows can be filtered by location, genre, etc. If someone is searching for a new band, the results they see will be links to profiles that bands set up. If someone is searching for live music, the results they see will be a list of local shows near them.

Bands and solo artists will be able to create their own public profile that site visitors can search through. You can view rough examples on our ‘Bands’ section www.midwestreverb.com/bands.

The public profiles will have a bio, an optional blurb about each member, and pictures of the band. The profiles will also include links to upcoming shows. The profiles will also have a section to display music releases, videos, news etc. The page links will appear in search results based on filters and selections.

Venues and bars will also be able to create their own public profile. The profiles will have basic information about the establishment. When bands post upcoming shows, venues that have a profile will be linked. Venues will also come up in search.

We are in the process of building the functional website that has just been described. When bands sign up, they will have a spot on the current “Bands” page until the new website is built. We are shooting to do a test launch in fall 2024. To make this happen we need as many bands/venues as we can to sign up for a public profile spot now. It is free.

When we hit 500 bands, we are doing giveaway of a $500 gift card for each band you refer to sign up. Each band you refer to Midwest Reverb will get you another entry into the giveaway if they sign up. Join
